Works submitted to the AI Advertisement Video category are considered derivative works created with the use of regional festivals, local traditional markets, and brands, characters (IP), and products of companies based in Gyeongbuk, with prior authorization obtained from the respective IP providers.
Exclusively for winning entries in the AI Advertisement Video category, the organizers of the relevant regional festivals, local traditional market managing institutions, or companies (IP providers) retain the right to utilize the award-winning works within the scope of promotional and marketing purposes.
Upon confirmation of an award, winners must agree to enter into a separate contract with the relevant IP provider regarding copyright licensing or transfer. Final award confirmation will only be made upon completion of said contract.
However, the organizer may use the award-winning works on a non-exclusive basis solely for non-profit purposes including contest operations, exhibitions, screenings, press releases, and online/offline promotions.
The AI Advertisement Video category is a contest field premised on actual practical use, and award-winning works may be utilized as promotional content for regional festivals, local traditional markets, and local businesses.
Submissions to the AI Game Video category are works that express game content with the use of AI technology in video form. Gameplay videos, system explanation videos, and cinematic videos centered on world-building and narrative are all eligible for submission.
However, all types of submissions must clearly demonstrate how AI technology was utilized in the production or direction of the game content. Participants must submit explanatory materials describing their use of AI.
For videos based on existing commercial games or another person's game content, prior authorization must be obtained from the copyright holder or IP owner of the relevant game, and supporting documentation may be requested as proof.
Game engines, AI frameworks, and generative tools (game engines, AI models, middleware, etc.) used in submissions may be freely utilized. However, participants are responsible for ensuring that no license violations occur with respect to such tools and assets.
The use of external paid assets such as those from the Unity Asset Store is permitted. However, videos composed solely of simple asset placement or editing are not eligible for submission.
Even when external assets are used, a creative processing component reflecting AI technology (direction, generation, transformation, system implementation, etc.) must be included. This must be verifiable through the submitted explanatory materials.
