Works that have previously won awards in other contests, works that belong to or imitate/plagiarize the intellectual property of others will be disqualified from judging.
Submitted works must not have previously won awards in any other contests, and transferring or licensing them to third parties is prohibited. Whether a work is considered identical to another shall be determined at the discretion of the organizer.
All elements included in the submission (music, video, images, characters, text, etc.) must not infringe upon any third-party rights, including portrait rights, copyrights, intellectual property rights, and ownership rights. When using AI tools, participants must verify the rights status of any source material in advance.
If real individuals appear in the work, a portrait rights consent form (Form 4) must be submitted for all participants shown. Failure to submit may result in disqualification from judging or cancellation of any award received.
The participant bears full responsibility for any legal disputes arising from their submitted work, and the organizer reserves the right to claim compensation from the participant for any tangible or intangible damages incurred as a result.
    Judging & Awards
Evaluation criteria and scoring tables are not disclosed, and judging will be conducted fairly by a judging committee that includes external experts in relevant fields.
If no suitable work is found based on the judging results for each category, an award may not be presented. The scale of awards and number of recipients may be adjusted accordingly.
The following cases will result in disqualification or cancellation of awards, and any certificates or prize money already awarded will be reclaimed:
Grounds for Disqualification and Cancellation of Awards
  • Works confirmed to involve plagiarism, misappropriation, or infringement of rights including copyright, portrait rights, or rental rights
  • Submissions under another person’s name or by proxy

  • If violations are discovered after an award, future participation in the contest may be restricted.
Participants selected as award candidates must submit required documents, including a copy of their ID, bank account details, and receipt, as directed by the organizer during the verification period (approximately 10 days) for award confirmation.
If required documents are not submitted within the verification period, or if submitted documents are found to contain false or unsuitable information, the award may be cancelled, and the next-ranking work may be selected as the award winner.
In the case of team participation, prize money will be paid in full to the team representative. The organizer will not be involved in any matters related to the distribution of prize money among team members.
    Copyright and Usage Rights
In principle, the copyright (both economic rights and moral rights) of all content submitted to the contest belongs to the participant. The participant is also responsible for the use of AI-generated tools and their outcomes.

However, all types of submissions must clearly demonstrate how AI technology was utilized in the production or direction of the game content. Participants must submit explanatory materials describing their use of AI.
For videos based on existing commercial games or another person's game content, prior authorization must be obtained from the copyright holder or IP owner of the relevant game, and supporting documentation may be requested as proof.
Game engines, AI frameworks, and generative tools (game engines, AI models, middleware, etc.) used in submissions may be freely utilized. However, participants are responsible for ensuring that no license violations occur with respect to such tools and assets.
The use of external paid assets such as those from the Unity Asset Store is permitted. However, videos composed solely of simple asset placement or editing are not eligible for submission.
Even when external assets are used, a creative processing component reflecting AI technology (direction, generation, transformation, system implementation, etc.) must be included. This must be verifiable through the submitted explanatory materials.
    Others
Finalists will be screened at events held by the 「2026 Gyeongsangbuk-do International AI·Metaverse Film Festival」 and related operating institutions of the organizer.
Participants bear all civil and criminal liability for any issues regarding portrait rights, copyrights, or intellectual property related to their submissions. The organizers may claim compensation for any resulting damages.
Matters not specified in this announcement will be interpreted and decided reasonably by Gyeongbuk Technopark in line with related laws and the intent of the contest.
The contest schedule, detailed information on contest categories, and award details are subject to change at the discretion of the organizers, and any changes will be announced on the official website(www.gamff.com)
